Solar-powered airship aims to beam internet from the stratosphere
Sceye's 200-foot solar-powered craft will loiter 18 km above the Pacific, acting as a high-altitude base station. It promises to deliver low-latency connectivity to remote areas without ground infrastructure. The company plans a test flight from the US to Japan as soon as August.
