Scammers pose as FBI on social media to target crime victims
The FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center warns that scammers are impersonating FBI agents on social media to defraud crime victims. The IC3 states any account claiming to represent it is fake. Victims are urged to report such accounts to the platform and the IC3.
