SanDisk samples BiCS10 chip, enabling 512TB SSDs by 2027
SanDisk has begun sampling its BiCS10 NAND chip, which uses 400 layers to achieve higher density and speed. The technology could lead to 512TB SSDs by 2027, but early drives are expected to cost over $300,000. The chip also supports PCIe 6.0 and improved write endurance.
