Samsung's 16TB PCIe 6.0 SSD Hits 28.4GB/s, but Needs New Hardware
Samsung announced a 16TB PCIe 6.0 SSD with sequential read speeds of 28.4GB/s and write speeds of 21.9GB/s. The drive uses the PCIe 6.0 interface, which is not yet supported by consumer desktop CPUs or motherboards. It targets enterprise and data center applications where PCIe 6.0 infrastructure is emerging.
