Pain-free tattoo patches aim to replace needles, ship by mail
Cipherx is developing microdot patches that deliver permanent tattoos without needles or pain. The technology uses microneedles to inject ink into the skin, and the company plans to offer mail-order kits. A London demo showed the patches working on skin, but no timeline for commercial release was given.
