Over 30% of new ArXiv papers show signs of AI writing

A new analysis of ArXiv submissions found that more than 30% of recent papers exhibit language patterns consistent with AI-generated text. The study used a classifier trained on pre- and post-GPT data to detect AI-written content. This suggests a rapid shift in academic writing practices within the AI research community.
