Open-source tool dumps RAM for cold boot attack research
BareMetal RAM Dumper is a new open-source tool that extracts memory contents from a computer after a cold reboot. It targets security researchers experimenting with cold boot attacks, which exploit residual data in RAM. The tool runs on bare-metal x86 systems without an operating system.
