Memory Doesn't Boost AI Agents—Only Context Matters
A benchmark of OrKa Brain showed only a +0.12 score gain over a memoryless agent on a 10-point scale. Pairwise wins were inflated by a 74.4% first-position bias. The only significant improvement came in long same-domain sequences, where memory helped by recalling previous state.
