Kioxia and Sandisk Sample 332-Layer NAND, Claim Density Record
Kioxia and Sandisk have begun sampling their BiCS10 3D NAND with 332 active layers, achieving an areal density of over 29 Gb/mm². This surpasses Samsung's 400-layer NAND in density, making it the world's densest 3D NAND. The new technology promises higher storage capacities and improved performance for SSDs.
