Intel wraps up defense-funded 18A chip pilot with Nvidia, others
Intel Foundry completed the RAMP-C defense program, a pilot that paid Nvidia and other companies to test chips on its 18A process. The program aimed to establish a secure domestic supply chain for advanced semiconductors. Intel says the pilot helped lay the groundwork for U.S. production of leading-edge chips.
