Intel wins Fortinet as first external customer for Intel 4 chipmaking node
Intel will co-develop and manufacture Fortinet's next-generation firewall ASIC using its Intel 4 process. The chip, called SP6, leverages Intel's expertise in disaggregated design and advanced packaging. This marks Intel 4's first named external customer, a win for Intel's foundry business.
