Google DeepMind VP Quits Coding, Hands It to AI Agents

Benoit Schillings, VP of Technology at Google DeepMind, said he has stopped writing code and now relies on AI agents. He noted that about 80% of code on GitHub is machine-generated and predicted that within a year, humans won't review AI-written code. Schillings emphasized that humans will focus on system design, not code minutiae.
