Google and FBI dismantle 2M-device NetNut botnet

Google and the FBI have disrupted the NetNut residential proxy botnet, which compromised over 2 million devices worldwide. The botnet used infected home routers and IoT devices to route malicious traffic, masking its origin. Other residential proxy services may have relied on the same infrastructure, raising broader security concerns.
