Fake Perplexity Chrome Extension Logged All Your Searches
Microsoft discovered a malicious Chrome extension impersonating the AI search engine Perplexity. The extension intercepted every search query and address bar input, sending data to an attacker-controlled server before showing real results. Google removed the extension after responsible disclosure.
