Fake Mac crash reports trick users into handing over passwords
A new macOS malware displays fake crash report dialogs that ask for the user's Mac password. If entered, the malware gains access to password managers, crypto wallets, and other sensitive data. The attack exploits user trust in Apple's legitimate crash reporting system.
