DJI drone hauls 10,000kg of waste from Everest in season
DJI's FlyCart 100 delivery drone transported over 10,000kg of supplies and waste between Everest Base Camp and Camp 1 this season. The eight-minute flight replaces a hazardous eight-hour Sherpa trek through the Khumbu Icefall. This reduces risk for Sherpas and helps clean up the mountain's growing garbage problem.
