Dish Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, Plans to Wind Down Wireless
Dish Network, owner of Dish TV and Sling TV, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to restructure debt and wind down its wireless operations after delays in selling $23 billion in 5G spectrum to AT&T. The company will continue operating its TV services during the process. EchoStar, which owns Dish, will support the restructuring.
