Developer open-sources 10 years of enterprise search work as Viglet Turing ES
After a decade building enterprise search for clients, a developer open-sourced the resulting platform, Viglet Turing ES, under Apache 2.0. It runs on top of existing search engines like Solr or Elasticsearch, adds hybrid retrieval and RAG with citations, and supports air-gapped deployments. The project includes a single-command Docker setup, REST and chat APIs, and TypeScript SDKs.
