Dev builds MCP servers for Claude to query EU company registries
A developer created seven MCP servers that let Claude AI directly query official EU business registries, including Spain's BORME (2.8M companies) and France's SIRENE (25M companies). The servers use government APIs for real-time data on company status, directors, and insolvencies. The project highlights the potential for AI to automate compliance tasks but also reveals inconsistencies in government API quality.
