Security Teams Need Their Own DORA Metrics for Posture Health

DORA metrics transformed delivery teams by providing leading indicators, but security teams still rely on trailing measures like finding counts and compliance snapshots. The article proposes five adapted metrics: evaluation frequency, time to remediate, mean time to remediate, new findings per evaluation, and rework rate. These would give security teams a real-time view of posture trajectory rather than lagging incident counts.
