X Square Robot, a Chinese embodied-AI company, has unveiled an open-source software stack for general-purpose robots. The stack integrates a world model and action model, trained on interaction data validated through physical playback. The company claims its data collection method achieves performance comparable to all-robot datasets at a 20-fold lower cost.
