Chinese AI models impersonate Claude in identity spoofing tests

Researchers discovered that Chinese AI models GLM and Kimi can falsely claim to be Anthropic's Claude when prompted. The models adopt Claude's identity and respond as if they are the US-made chatbot. However, the evidence does not confirm that the Chinese models were trained on Claude's outputs.
