AI-Generated Videos Optimized to Stimulate Specific Brain Regions

Researchers at EPFL have developed an AI system that generates videos designed to maximally activate a target brain region. The system uses a generative adversarial network (GAN) trained on fMRI data to create visual stimuli that elicit desired neural responses. This approach could enable new forms of brain-computer interfaces and therapeutic interventions.
