Why Netflix Screenshots Show Black: Android's Secure Layer Trick

Android's SurfaceFlinger compositor renders separate images for the screen and for screenshots. Layers with FLAG_SECURE are simply omitted from the screenshot output, leaving uninitialized black pixels. No active detection or painting occurs—the black rectangle is just zeros from an empty buffer.
