WhatsApp Attack Uses Fake Docs to Install RMM Tool
Attackers are sending malicious VBScript files via WhatsApp that install legitimate ManageEngine RMM software. Kaspersky reports the campaign targets WhatsApp Desktop and Web users in at least eight countries. The attack uses fake document lures to trick victims into running the script.
