Vercel Adds Thinking Machines' Inkling Model to AI Gateway

Vercel's AI Gateway now supports Inkling, a generalist model from Thinking Machines trained across agentic, reasoning, coding, and vision tasks. The model offers controllable thinking effort and is accessible via the AI SDK with unified API, usage tracking, and cost management. AI Gateway passes through provider pricing without markup, including for BYOK requests.
