Vercel Adds Realtime Voice Agents to AI Gateway

Vercel's AI Gateway now supports audio, including realtime voice, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text, alongside existing text, image, and video modalities. The feature is in beta with models from OpenAI and xAI, and offers provider routing, observability, and spend controls. Developers can build two-way voice agents using the AI SDK 7's useRealtime hook or WebSocket API.
