UK Plans Midnight Social Media Curfew for Teens
The UK will impose a midnight-to-6 a.m. social media curfew for 16- and 17-year-olds starting spring 2027. Autoplay and personalized feeds will also be disabled by default for this age group. The policy targets addictive platform design to protect adolescent mental health.
