Track Claude Agent Usage with Stop Hook Transcripts
A developer built a system that logs every Claude Code agent invocation by reading the transcript_path from the Stop hook payload. The JSONL log now records 553 invocations, with general-purpose called 58 times and Explore 24 times in the last week. The tool also revealed 47 agents that were never used, helping prune unnecessary definitions.
