Tastemaker skill forces AI coding tools to lock design taste before writing UI

A solo developer created Tastemaker, an open-source skill for Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Codex that enforces a design system before AI generates any UI code. It includes 5 color palettes, 24 font pairings, illustrations, logos, and motion defaults. The developer found that 40% of his manually chosen palettes failed accessibility contrast checks, which he fixed with a Python script.
