Story Network Goes Live: IP Licensing on an EVM Layer 1
Story mainnet launched in February 2025, treating intellectual property as native on-chain objects with registration, licensing, and royalties. The EVM-compatible chain uses CometBFT consensus for 2-3 second blocks and single-block finality. It raised $80M in Series B funding led by a16z.
