Redis Leaderboard Tie-Breaking Flaw Exposed by Open-Source Podium

A developer building Podium, an open-source Redis-backed leaderboard service, found that standard ZADD and ZREVRANGE commands break ties incorrectly, silently using player IDs as ranking rules. The project offers fair, deterministic ordering for equal scores, along with bulk updates and multi-leaderboard fan-out. Podium is deployable via Docker or Kubernetes and supports standalone Redis or Redis Cluster.
