Perl v5.44 Coming as Raku Foundation Splits from Perl
The Raku Foundation (TRF) has been officially announced, separating from The Perl and Raku Foundation. Perl v5.44 is expected soon, while the perl-lsp project reached version 0.6.0 with smart type narrowing. A new Unicode::UTF8 module reads UTF-8 7-16x faster than native Perl reads.
