Open-source tool ploop keeps Claude Opus on track without extra credits
Anthropic moved Fable 5 to usage-credit billing on July 8, 2026. Developer Clomia released ploop, an open-source autonomous loop for Claude Code that keeps Opus focused on long missions. The tool uses a separate advisor subagent to catch drift and preserves the mission goal across auto-compactions, all within the subscription quota.
