Open-source tool keeps MacBooks awake only during AI agent tasks
Adrafinil prevents MacBooks from sleeping when lid is closed, but only while AI agents like Claude Code are active. It uses pmset disablesleep and hooks into agent processes, then lets the laptop sleep when work finishes. The open-source app includes a menu bar indicator and optional MCP for manual control.
