Nylas adds server-side guardrail to stop AI agents emailing wrong recipients
Nylas introduces outbound Rules for Agent Accounts that block emails to denied recipients at the infrastructure level, catching errors missed by application-layer checks. The rule evaluates every send regardless of code path, including BCCs, and fails closed on transient errors. Non-engineers can update the denylist without a deploy, providing a defense-in-depth layer for autonomous email agents.

This is a practical DLP feature for AI agents, but its value depends on how many teams actually use Nylas's agent infrastructure rather than building their own.
