Linux ported to Atari Jaguar, overcoming 2MB RAM and quirky hardware
A developer successfully ported Linux to the 1993 Atari Jaguar, the first 64-bit console. The port required working around severe memory limits (2MB RAM), a lack of an MMU, and unusual co-processors. The Jaguar was notoriously difficult to program and commercially flopped.
