Google Chrome to fully remove Manifest V2 extensions on August 31
Google Chrome will completely remove support for older Manifest V2 extensions on August 31, ending a transition that began over four years ago. Users will lose access to any remaining V2 extensions still installed. The move forces developers to migrate to the newer Manifest V3 platform.
