ERC-8004 trust scores: naive averages mislead, beta method wins

ERC-8004 gives AI agents on-chain identity and reputation registries across 20+ EVM chains. Analysis of 245 feedback entries for 10 agents on Base mainnet shows that simple average scores reward correlated evidence over independent breadth. The Beta Reputation System (2002) corrects this by modeling evidence as a posterior distribution, outputting both expectation and uncertainty.
