Epok reads logs, metrics, and traces together to automatically identify root causes of incidents, citing each claim to its source. In a controlled experiment, it correctly identified a failing TLS certificate as the cause, despite the affected service having 7x fewer errors than the loudest victim. The tool cuts mean-time-to-resolution by avoiding the common pitfall of investigating the noisiest service first.
