Developer builds $5 USB dongle that blocks 537,000 ad domains
Egyptian developer ZedAxis created a $5 USB dongle that blocks over 537,000 ad domains using just 4MB of flash memory. The device works by acting as a DNS sinkhole, intercepting ad requests at the network level. A YouTube demo shows it effectively blocking ads across multiple devices.
