Codename One’s Certificate Wizard Goes Standalone, Drops Password Login
Codename One rewrote its iOS certificate wizard as a standalone desktop app that uses Apple’s App Store Connect API key instead of logging in as the user. The old wizard broke whenever Apple changed its login flow or tightened 2FA. The new approach uses a .p8 private key plus Key ID and Issuer ID, eliminating password storage and 2FA prompts.
