Claude Code plugin warns devs before they hit API quota limits
A developer built usage-guard, a free local plugin for Claude Code that reads real-time 5-hour and weekly quota percentages and alerts users before they exhaust their limits. The plugin nudges users via the Stop hook when thresholds are crossed, and falls back to a local estimate if the real quota path is unavailable. 267 people installed it in the first two weeks.
