Claude Code hides context usage; here's how to see it
Claude Code does not expose context window fullness or usage limits in its hooks API or plugin system. The only place this data appears is in the statusLine command's JSON payload. A new npm package, cc-context-telemetry, surfaces these metrics in the terminal prompt.
