Chinese startup tests rocket ignition with Coca-Cola gas
Z-Trak Space successfully tested a rocket ignition system using supercritical CO₂, the same gas used in carbonated drinks. The method aims to replace traditional pyrotechnic igniters, potentially reducing costs and improving safety. The startup plans to use the technology for small satellite launchers.
