Better Auth Acquired by Vercel, Plans AI Agent Auth

Better Auth, an open-source authentication framework, is joining Vercel to accelerate development while remaining framework-agnostic. The team plans to invest in authentication for AI agents, enabling secure, revocable access on behalf of users. Vercel also announced Dockerfile support, a container registry, and larger function packages at its Ship event.
