AWS, Microsoft, Google Build Same AI Agent Lock-In Trap

AWS Bedrock AgentCore, Azure AI Foundry, and Google Vertex AI all offer similar five-part stacks for enterprise AI agents: runtime, memory, identity, tools, and observability. While this convergence simplifies initial deployment within one cloud, moving agents to another cloud requires a full rebuild due to proprietary identity, networking, and storage hooks. Open protocols like MCP help with tool connectivity but don't solve cloud-level portability.
